Excel Civil & Environmental Associates (ECEA) teamed up with Renogy Solar to install a remediation system to clean the environment “off the grid”. This cleanup system enabled ECEA to recently recover spilled gasoline at an old service station site using an approach that is both green and sustainable.
The key to operation is to match the power requirements of the clean up equipment to the power provided by the solar panels, charge controller and battery. ECEA has successfully utilized this free hydrocarbon product recovery technology at numerous underground storage tank (UST) sites and near fuel piping systems in throughout the southeast US.
Renogy, a California based company, is a global supplier of solar panels, mostly in the US, but also abroad. Though many customers recognize Renogy for selling panels under 100W, the Company also sells 240W, 250W, and 300W Monocrystalline and Polycrystalline solar panels. The larger Renogy brand solar panels have been used in a variety of solar projects internationally and in a variety of applications. Panels used off the grid are designed to recharge deep cycle lead acid batteries that can power electronic devices and/or provide a back-up power source in case of an emergency. By utilizing Renogy’s solar panels, ECEA is able to provide the latest technology available to it’s customers for cleaning the environment “off the grid”.
