Expedited Remediation Process Resulting in Significant Savings (Pending NC Legislation)

The North Carolina State Legislature recently passed the Regulatory Reform Act of 2015, which expands the scope of remediation. This legislation improves on the previous statute by expediting the remediation process. The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ – previously DENR) will be tasked with moving facilities through this process quickly.
